Year 1 have enjoyed being back in the Rainbow Room this week, taking part in lots of exciting bonfire-themed activities. The children have had great fun exploring and creating work linked to Bonfire Night.
In English, we have been learning and performing a winter poem, which has been very exciting. The children have loved discussing the poem and sharing their ideas.
In Maths, we have been exploring numbers beyond 10 using Numicon. We have been representing numbers from 11 to 20 and practising counting on from 10 to build our understanding of place value and number patterns.
