Year 3 have enjoyed another fantastic week of learning. In Science, the children worked like real scientists, making careful observations as they investigated how plants absorb water. By using coloured water, they discovered how water travels from the roots through the stem and into the leaves. In Maths, we have been exploring place value within 1,000 using Base 10 equipment and place value cards to deepen our understanding. In PE, we continued learning about our bodies while developing dribbling skills in preparation for football. Next week, we are excited to taste different toppings and spices before deciding on the final ingredients for our crumbles.
