It has been a wonderful first week back in Reception! We have loved learning all about our story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and the children have been so excited to retell the story in lots of different ways. It has been lovely to see their enthusiasm as they bring the story to life!
In phonics, we have continued practising our sounds ng, nk, ch and sh, and the children have been doing a fantastic job at recognising and using these in their learning.
Ash and Apple classes also had a brilliant time celebrating their Community Day in the woods, where they worked together to create their class names. There has been lots of exciting outdoor exploration, discovering, investigating and having fun together!
What a fantastic start to the new half term! We are so proud of how well the children have settled back into school and can’t wait for more exciting learning adventures.
