Year 3 started the new half term with a brilliant energy and motivation. In English, we have been gathering character traits and evidence about The Iron Man to help us create thoughtful epitaphs that capture his unique character. In Maths, we have been developing our mental addition and subtraction skills by using strategies such as Make 10, number bonds within 20 and partitioning. In Science, the children worked collaboratively to create a life-sized Iron Man using foil and discussed the properties of different materials. Next week, we are excited to begin exploring how to write our own heroic tales in English.
