Year 4 have had an amazing week! They have enjoyed visiting Lister park in preparation for writing their persuasive leaflets. Pupils enjoyed exploring plants, trees and waterfalls whilst walking along the winding paths of the botanical gardens. They learnt interesting historical facts about Samuel Lister and Sir Titus Salt whilst looking at the statues standing in the park. Their visit to Cartwright Hall felt inspiring as the children immersed themselves in Bradford’s artwork collection. Year 4 all loved spending time in the magnificent adventure playground and playing with their friends. They now have so much to write about! We cannot wait to read their persuasive leaflets encouraging visitors to come to Lister Park. Next week they are looking forward to embellishing their Victorian artwork based on Clare Caulfield.
