This week Y3 have thoroughly enjoyed their first week back. We have been working very hard on our Heaton Routines because it allows them to enjoy the learning calmly and without the distractions. The year was started with a berry picking trip to our field where we collected some blackberries, apples and pears to bring back and turn into a crumble! We continued the week beautifully while listening to our one and only Mrs Wilde leading our first singing assembly of the year. The children have also been exploring their Maths place value recapping their work from Y2 that will be essential in the next coming weeks. Next week we are looking forward to exploring our Hansel and Gretel story in our English lessons.
