What a fantastic first week we have had! We enjoyed an exciting trip to Saltaire on a steam train, travelling like people did in Victorian times. The children were mesmerized by the sounds and sights they experienced on the train. Then we travelled on an electric train before disembarking at Saltaire. We explored the beautiful Victorian architecture, noticing interesting buildings and features, before having fun playing in the park and enjoying an ice cream! Back in school, we have been creating a sound poem about trains. It has been a wonderful week of learning, exploring and creativity!
