It has been yet another busy week in Reception. From continuing to learn our story, Jack and the Beanstalk, to writing sentences about what happened at each part of the story, the children have blown the adults away with their fantastic sentence-writing skills.
In maths, we have been comparing lengths and discussing longer/shorter and taller/shorter. We have continued to enjoy our outdoor learning, and it has been lovely to spend time exploring and investigating in the sunshine.
On Friday, we welcomed a male family member into the woods to join us for our Father’s Day Stay and Play session. It is always so lovely to share our woodland space with families and see the children interacting with their loved ones in the woods. The children are always so excited to show them around.
