The first week back has been eventful for Year 2. We have been busy writing some fantastic poetry about woodland creatures inspired by our story for this half term, The Fantastic Mr Fox. We have looked at what mice and squirrels look like, eat and love to do. It’s been so exciting! In Maths, we had the opportunity to handle money and practise our skills to recognise various coins, not only their appearance but also their value. Next week, we are looking forward to our woodland day where we will re-enact the Fantastic Mr. Fox story and continue to develop our oracy skills.
