Year 5 have really enjoyed their trips to Cartwright Hall this week, taking part in an Early Islamic Civilisation workshop, showing what they have learnt and being able to view special artefacts that help us to learn more about the past. Year 5 also enjoyed calligraphy writing with special reed pens and played a trading game. Year 5 have also started to read their new class novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Pupils have been writing potion poems in Literacy and are looking forward to their chemistry learning in Science.
