Year 5 have really enjoyed creating Islamic artwork patterns using a compass, they have really worked hard on ensuring the shapes are symmetrical and shaded beautifully. Year 5 also really enjoyed World Book Day, discussing their favourite characters and taking part in a live lesson all about promoting a love of reading. Year 5 will continue to learn about festivals next week and will be creating some beautiful pieces to share with their families.
