Year 5 are now the miptor (alien) specialists helping the government to teach others how to look after the aliens that have been falling from the sky. Pupils are using cause and effect conjunctions and parenthesis to advise members of the public on how to feed, groom and exercise their new alien pets. In addition pupils have ‘interviewed’ Mae Jemison (who was the first black American woman in space) as part of their book art poster about space explorers. This has included sketching a space helmet with a reflected image in the visor.
