Year 1 have had a visit from Katrina and her owls this week. We learnt lots of interesting facts about them and those of us who were brave enough got to hold Piglet the Pygmy Owl. We have continued to explore natural and man-made materials through the artwork of Andy Goldsworthy. We created our own pieces of art using different materials with a focus on zig zag, spiral and circle patterns. In literacy we have invented our own journey tale by changing the characters and monster from the Gruffalo story. In computing we have been using the mouse to create a drawing of ourselves and then writing our name using the keyboard.
