Reception have had a very exciting week learning the new story ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’. As part of our literacy lessons, we have been transported into the story, by using the 4D space to act out the story and using our small world tray to retell the story. We have also enjoyed using our junk modelling, cutting, and joining skills to make beanstalks, castles, and houses in our creative area. We also planted beans this week and we cannot wait to see how tall they grow. I wonder if they will be as tall as Jack’s Beanstalk. We hope everyone who is celebrating has a lovely Eid. We look forward to having an Eid lunch together in school on Monday.
