What a wonderful week our Year 2 children have had! They started the week with various puffin facts in English, helping them recognize these birds by their appearance. In Topic, they learned the features of the seaside and identified various microhabitats, such as cliff faces and rock pools. All this work helped them enjoy their biggest trip yet to the Flamborough seaside. The children not only enjoyed their time paddling in the water and playing in the sand, but they also went on the cliff tops to spot puffins on the cliff faces using binoculars. Next week, we are looking forward to learning more about the seaside animals and their habitats.
