This week 3-year nursery have started their new topic ‘Journeys’. As part of going on journey the children have been making their own train track in the playdough and joining train tracks together to create a large train track. The children have also enjoyed exploring the woodlands looking at how it has changed and what has grown since going before the holidays. The focus in Maths this half term is linking numerals to amounts. We are focusing on tallying amounts, using dots to represent different amounts and matching these to the correct numeral. Go on a number hunt around your house to see all the different places you can numbers. This week we have focused on 1 and 2. We hope everyone who is celebrating has a lovely Eid. We look forward to celebrating in nursery on Monday.
