#10 Sharing books
The love for stories and books has continued to grow in 2 Year Nursery. Children have started to independently access a range of books in the reading area. A firm favourite seems to be ‘Oh Dear!’ By Rodd Campbell. Different activities have been set up in 2-year nursery this week enabling children to embed their learning on animals. This week two more groups of children and families visited the Heaton Library based at St Martin’s church with their keyworker. Sharing stories with children develops their language skills, develops their imagination, and helps to teach children about the world around them.
