This week, Year 2 children got competitive! We checked their timetable facts, and they practised their 2, 5, 10 times tables as well as the related division facts, ready for the battle to find the finalists for the Maths challenge next week. The children were also excited to start writing their warning tale in English, using the tools to isolate the character and enrich their story with dramatic time connectives and scary sound effects. Next week they are looking forward to exploring artistic skills to draw a puffin inspired by one of our studied artists.
