This week, our 3YN children have continued to explore our Traditional Tales topic, building on their enjoyment of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The children had great fun creating their own trolls using playdough, carefully rolling, pinching, and shaping the dough. This activity was fantastic for developing their fine motor skills, hand strength, and coordination, while also encouraging creativity and independence. We also introduced a simple story map to help the children retell the story in sequence using pictures. It has been lovely to see their confidence grow as they proudly retell the tale in their own words and make connections through play.
