This first week back, Year 5 has been buzzing about our new Space topic. Pupils have used pastels to create beautiful galaxy pictures on black paper; they have expanded their vocabulary through fantastic cinquain poetry writing and they have used maths scale skills to create an accurate timeline about space exploration. In reading, we have been finding out amazing facts about the International Space Station and in Maths, we have been exploring factors and multiples.
