It has been a real pleasure welcoming our new Reception children this week. They’ve made a fantastic start, settling in beautifully and approaching each new experience with curiosity and enthusiasm.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring their new classrooms and outdoor learning areas, quickly growing in confidence as they familiarise themselves with their new environment. It’s been heartwarming to see them reconnect with friends from Nursery, form new friendships, and begin building strong relationships with their teachers.
One of the highlights of the week has been the home corners in all three classrooms. These cosy spaces have quickly become a favourite, sparking lots of imaginative play as children role-play familiar scenes from home life—cooking, caring for babies, and hosting tea parties!
We are so proud of how well the children have settled in and are excited for all the learning and fun the year ahead will bring.
