After another busy week in Reception, we have had so much fun learning!
We have continued exploring our focus story, Whatever Next!, and have been learning to retell the story by splitting it into four parts. The children have done a fantastic job remembering each part and putting the story together. We have also been matching initial sounds to the different parts of the story and its characters. We have been blown away by how well the children have learnt and remembered their sounds!
In maths, we have been sharing and sorting objects by size, developing our understanding of what makes objects bigger and smaller.
In phonics, we have learnt the sounds v, y, w, th and z. The children have worked incredibly hard, and it has been wonderful to see their confidence growing each week.
