Year 3 have had a great start to the Summer 2 half term. The children have loved getting immersed in our new topic ‘Light’. In particular, they have enjoyed starting our new class book ‘Icarus is Ridiculous’. This has been the inspiration for our Design Technology project for this half term. The children will be designing and sewing a page for a cloth book. This week we have been practicing sewing skills, and the children have shown great resilience and determination to succeed. We will be inviting families to come to school and help us with our sewing in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye out for a PING.
