Year 5 have really enjoyed their topic lessons this week learning about the Rugby player Rob Burrows and his legacy. Pupils used a programme called Chatta to write sentences about his life, using recorded sentences and images to support them. Year 5 have been planning their Invent for their unfulfilled to fulfilled tale this week in Literacy lessons. Before they began writing, pupils walked around the classroom to share their plan with other children, practising orally rehearsing their story and gaining improvement suggestions from their friends. We can’t wait to read their final pieces next week!
