We have had another exciting week in Reception as we continued exploring the story The Enormous Turnip. This week, the children innovated the story by replacing one of the characters with a character from a previous story, and then used their ideas to write their own sentences. The children have done an amazing job, and we are incredibly proud of their creativity and effort.
In maths, we have been revisiting our understanding of shapes, sorting them by their properties and using them to create patterns. We have also been looking forward to our upcoming Eid celebrations and have been busy making beautiful decorations to brighten our classrooms.
