Year 1 have been busy this week learning about Autumn and some children went for a wonderful Autumn walk with their families. We have started to find out about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and have been learning how to draw the different patterns that can be seen in his artwork. In maths we have been using maths stories to write addition equations. In literacy we have changed the characters in the Gruffalo story to the woodland animals we have been finding out about in our tell me lessons. Year 1 are looking forward to their owl visitor next week!
