Pupils in Year 5 have loved getting into drafting and publishing their ‘warning tale’ stories. Your child’s main character is told to not go to their den because of an imminent volcanic eruption (our topic learning) but as you may guess – they do and things go wrong. During the ending, their character meets the person who gave them the original warning. In addition to fabulous writing your children have been undertaking exciting science experiments all about forces and measuring them using Newton meters.
