Reception, we have been developing our pouring and filling skills through exciting water play activities.
Using jugs and watering cans, the children have been carefully filling a variety of containers while exploring key concepts such as empty, half full, and full. This hands-on experience has helped to strengthen their fine motor skills and deepen their understanding of volume and capacity.

The children had a wonderful time designing their own personalised placemats, which they proudly took along to use while enjoying their sandwiches alongside their favourite teddy bear friends.
We have been strengthening our fine motor skills by carefully placing pegs onto the peg boards. This activity encourages precision, concentration, and hand-eye coordination, helping to support the development of dexterity and control in a fun and engaging way.
