Thank you for visiting our website to find out more about our great school.
Beckfoot Heaton is a thriving three form entry primary school and nursery on the outskirts of Bradford.
The best way to understand us is to read this quote from one of our Year 6 pupils.
“The thing that makes our school great are the values we have – growth, commitment and integrity and also the constant help that makes us great learners and great people so that we can have a great life.”
Children, staff, families and the local community work together to help each child achieve that great life and we are so proud of the culture we have created.
We have created an exceptional curriculum; inclusive, motivating and aspirational. This curriculum, the careful way we teach it and our partnership with families, is resulting in truly exceptional outcomes for all pupils – we are so proud of them!
Our last Ofsted report includes many wonderful quotes:
- “From the Early years through to Year 6, pupils thrive here. They achieve highly in all subjects. They also flourish in their personal and social development.”
- “Pupils value their education. They relish the opportunity to learn new things and are excited by the school’s vibrant and rich curriculum.”
- “The school is a happy and friendly place to learn. The school builds warm, caring relationships with children and families. This has built a strong sense of community between the school, pupils and their families.”
Visitors – come and visit.
Children, families and staff – don’t miss a minute!
