Year 1 have been in the woodlands this week to celebrate our class communities. We hunted for different types of leaves to create our class names. We have also welcomed our parents into school to share how we teach phonics and how they can help their child with reading at home. In literacy we have started our Gruffalo Talk4writing unit and have had great fun learning the new oral story.
