Year 5 have really enjoyed starting their new topic learning about the Early Islamic Civilisation. Pupils have written poetry comparing this period in history with the Anglo Saxon times; pupils have also created beautiful patterns in art lessons using a compass. Year 5 are looking forward to starting their wishing tales next week. Year 5 are also very excited about World Book Day with a theme of building a love of reading.
