Year 2 have been enjoying their last week before the holidays. We have been reminding ourselves of the importance of knowing the number facts really well and recalling them fast. The children were reminded that their Numbots accounts allow them to log in and play fun games to keep up with their essential Maths exercises. The children got an amazing opportunity to learn to recognize 3D shapes from looking at shape nets and making one of them into an Easter Bunny basket. In Topic, they were able to experiment with the wheels and axles and construct their chariots. They carefully followed their design sheets and used their prior knowledge to select the correct wheels for a working vehicle. Lastly, we have had such fun at our Eid parties.
