Year 3 have had a fantastic week completing our topic on Rivers and Settlements. The children have showcased their topic learning in their story about an unkind pharaoh in Literacy and are currently writing a letter to him to persuade him to let the Hebrew slaves free! We brought our learning about Ancient Egypt to life on the field when the children were challenged to make a shaduf to move water from the River Nile to their farms. The children showed amazing teamwork skills and were very successful in watering their crops!
