Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed starting their new topic all about Ancient Greece. Pupils have begun by sketching a Greek Warrior and writing poetry about an Ancient Greek Trireme warship using fabulous vocabulary. Next week pupils will be visiting our woodland, joining a warrior school, building miniature Trojan horses and creating clay medallions. Pupils are also looking forward to World Book Day with a focus on building a love of reading.
