This week in 3YN we had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year! The children have been learning all about how people celebrate and enjoyed listening to the story of The Great Race. They especially loved tasting noodles and crackers, so yummy! In our tuff tray, the children had a go at picking up noodles using chopsticks, which was a fantastic fine motor activity and great for developing their hand skills. They also made beautiful Chinese lanterns using bright colours and worked very carefully on their creations. To end our lovely week, we made special Valentine’s Day cards for our families, which the children were very proud of. What a busy and exciting week we have had!
