Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed a special visitor in school today whose father escaped the Nazi regime during World War 2 on the Kinder Transport. Pupils asked meaningful questions and wrote thoughtful diary entries as if they were a child escaping themselves. Next week, pupils in Year 6 will be taking their mock SATs papers; it would be really helpful to discuss this at home; these tests are a practice and will help teachers to plan further lessons. Pupils in Year 6 need to ensure they get plenty of sleep, eat well, and try their best!
