Year 1 have continued to make their savannah sunset pieces of art this week. We have been exploring the techniques we have learnt to create the sunset back drop for our artwork. In literacy we have started our non-fiction writing about animals. This has involved learning how to research exciting facts about an elephant and organise the information into different sections to help the reader. We have been solving addition calculation problems up to 20 by using manipulatives to help us.
