Year 6 recognised Holocaust Memorial Day this week with a special assembly. Next week they will be meeting Diane Fairfax, whose father escaped the Nazi regime on the Kinder Transport, taking refuge in Great Britain. Pupils will then write a diary extract as if they were a passenger on the train escaping. Many Year 6 pupils this week enjoyed our Monday after school maths booster, practicing division skills; all pupils attending boosters show such enthusiasm and determination to succeed!
