It has been another exciting week in Reception as we continue to immerse ourselves in our Rainbow Fish story and our Under the Sea topic.
The children have shown great enthusiasm while learning about sea creatures and the features of fish. We discovered that the shape of a fish’s body helps it to glide smoothly through the water, sparking lots of curiosity and discussion.
In maths, we have continued to deepen our understanding of numbers, using practical resources and scaffolds to support our learning as we explored the concepts of one more and one less.
The children have also been busy developing their fine motor skills during provision, with a particular focus on carefully cutting along lines and practicing correct letter formation.
