What an exciting week we have had in Reception! We have continued to immerse ourselves in our story The Rainbow Fish while also learning about the fascinating role of marine biologists.
In maths, we have been learning numbers 6–10, focusing on how to write them, represent them using cubes, and show them on a tens frame.
In literacy, we have been exploring the characters from the story and using our phonics knowledge to write their names. The children have worked incredibly hard and have been carefully using their Fred Fingers to support their writing.
In creative, we have been making patterns with paint and then transforming our beautifully patterned paper into colourful jellyfish!
