Year 1 have enjoyed hosting their families this week during our maths GLEE on Wednesday. We were proud to show them our maths meeting lesson and model how to use Numbots at home. In Literacy we have started changing the Handa surprise story to include their own ideas about the animals and fruit. We also had a great time tasting the different fruits that were in the original story. We have been learning about telling the time in maths with a focus on o’clock and half past. In topic we have continued to look at the world and comparing hot and cold countries. We looked at the equator and found that the further away a country is from the equator determines the temperature and the types of clothing people may wear.
