Year 1 have thoroughly enjoyed aspiration week and have been exploring different career and life choices. We have looked at the various skills we need to achieve our dreams and how having a positive mindset makes a difference to success. We created vision boards with aspirations as to what our future may look like, thinking about careers, travel and lifestyle. In literacy we have started our fiction text of ‘Handa’s Surprise’ about a little girl who lives in Africa who goes to visit her friend in another village and has some surprises along the way.
