Our 3YN children have been enjoying our new topic, Traditional Tales, we have been reading The Three Billy Goats Gruff in Literacy. They have loved joining in with the repeated phrases of the story whilst we read it together, growing in confidence at carpet time. The children were especially engaged when acting out the story in the small world area, using the goat and troll puppets to bring the tale to life. It has been wonderful to see their imagination, storytelling skills, and enthusiasm grow as they explore this traditional tale together.
