Year 6 have really enjoyed starting their new topic all about World War 2. Pupils have learnt about the Blitz, where major cities in Great Britain were invaded by German aircraft and bombed. Pupils have enjoyed woodland sessions, building Anderson shelters, baking using war time recipes and collected factual information about the home front. Pupils will enjoy Aspiration Week next week, creating their vision boards, learning about different occupations, and thinking about their plans for their bright futures.
