This week Year 6 have started to think about their narrative where two characters meet as children and end up in the trenches during World War 1. This meeting tale focuses on character progression and includes speech. In maths pupils in Year 6 are continuing to learn about fractions. In STEM lessons pupils have built fliers in different shapes, thinking about air dynamics and which flier will travel further. Next week pupils in Year 6 will be enjoying their trenches day in the woodlands, digging trenches and cooking soup, we know they are very excited for these sessions!
