This week, Year 6 have continued to learn about World War 1. Pupils have researched about Khudadad Khan, a soldier who fought for Great Britain and was awarded the Victoria Cross for his heroism. Pupils will be writing an epitaph for this soldier. Year 6 are enjoying STEM projects every Thursday, this week pupils have built bridges using straws thinking about shapes with strength. Next week, Year 6 will be continuing to read texts based upon World War 1, learning about how animals supported soldiers in the trenches.
