The children enjoyed using a map of London and a key this week in Topic to show how the Great Fire of London spread in 1666. Year 2 have started to learn how to play the chime bars in Music and are enjoying learning how to follow notes. In English, the children have started their new fiction unit, a Tale of Fear, based on Roald Dhal’s Billy and the Minpins. Next week, the children are looking forward to going to the woodlands and reenacting the Great Fire of London.
