As part of our anti-bullying week this week, Year 1 have been finding out about what the word bullying means and what to do if they think that they or a friend are being bullied. We also talked about what a good friend does and how they can continue being super role models. In maths this week, we have continued to work with numbers up to 20 and their place value on a number line by ordering them from smallest to biggest. In literacy, we have started our fiction text ‘Stickman’. We have been learning all about the story sequence and ordered the story using the time connectives first, then, next and finally to help us. In topic, we have continued to look at the history of our lifetime and what important events have happened since we were born.
