Year 4 have made a fantastic start to this half term. They have begun their journey to becoming confident swimmers by accessing the giant pool situated in our playground! They all listened carefully and engaged well with the interactive presentation on water safety by Kanga Swim, excitedly asking questions to clarify their own thoughts. The dry swim sessions taught rules and key swimming strokes, helping to build their confidence when swimming in the pool. Next week, Year 4 are looking forward to learning the story ‘A Christmas Carol’ as part of their Talk for writing unit.
