Year 5 have had a fantastic final week completing their work all about Natural Disasters and finishing reading the class novel – ‘The Firework Makers Daughter’. During Literacy children have enjoyed writing their inventive ‘warning tale’ focusing on creating suspense. Looking to after the half term holiday pupils are excited to start our Space topic. With darker evening it is the perfect time to explore the science of our solar system and to find out about some of the fantastic people who have contributed to space exploration!
